 The Downland Practice

Clinics, Services and Your Named GP

All our patients have been allocated a named GP.

The named GP is largely a role of oversight; to reassure patients they have one GP within the Practice who is responsible for carrying out work on their behalf.

There is no condition for patients to see their named GP when booking an appointment.

Patients are entitled to see any GP or nurse in the Practice.

Please contact Reception if you are unsure who your named GP is.

Cervical Screening

We offer all women aged 25-49 three yearly and aged 50-65 five yearly routine screening for cervical cancer.
