Dear Patients, The ‘ask the GP a question tab‘ is only available during the GP working hours. If this facility is accessed when the surgery is not open then you will be advised to contact 111 or visit the NHS website for self help. The reason for this is that during silent hours and weekends patients can get the help that they need within a reasonable time frame. The ‘ask the GP a question tab‘ is for non urgent patients related matters and is a secure way of contacting the practice for patient concerns. All responses sent in via this link are looked at and then sent to the relevant GP for action at a later date. The GP then will call the patient and then book an appointment if required depending on the nature of the medical condition.
