The Downland Practice have been successful in recruiting a Paramedic to deal with patients who have on the day concerns. This will free up GP time so that the GP’s can see more routine patients with chronic illnesses. We anticipate that the Paramedic will be in post for the end of Jan 2022, but they are likely to be undertaking the odd day here and there between now and the end of January. The Paramedic is very experienced and will be in a good position to assess the needs of patients who need to be seen on the day.
