Many thanks to all those people who have volunteered to assist with the COVID vaccination programme. We have had over 30 people come forward to offer their assistance, this is both in clinical and administrative roles. The practice has sent all of the volunteers an update of what is occurring and thanked them for the offer of help. We anticipate that the Downland Practice will be offering Covid-19 vaccinations in January 2021 once dates for the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine have been confirmed. These vaccination clinics will be held at a central Newbury location that has the capacity to host practice staff and volunteers with ample parking for patients. These clinics will operate with a socially distanced approach so that all patients attending for COVID-19 vaccination can receive their vaccine in a safe environment.
Once we have confirmed dates for clinics the practice staff will be booking in patients to timed clinics and we will update the website with the dates of the COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
