Currently those patients who are Immunosuppressed are entitled to receive a third dose of Covid-19 Vaccine, patients in this group will be notified by letter from their Hospital Consultant. At the present time there is no facility at the Downland Practice to book these vaccines. As these third doses are inside of the six month window from their last Covid-19 vaccine, this group of people cannot book their vaccination by using the NHS Covid-19 Vaccine booking system. We have had a small number of letters from Hospital Consultants advising patients to have a third dose, names will be sent to the Clinical Commissioning Group for further actions to take place. This issue is occurring at other local practices also, once we have an answer we will post information on the website.
