UKRAINE DONATIONS
We have started collecting again as I have found another lorry going down to the Ukraine. The driver’s wife is Ukrainian and has been able to complete the paperwork necessary…hallejula!! We are hoping, for the foreseeable future at least, this will be a regular occurrence. The items needed and this may change week on week are:
NO CLOTHES PLEASE except warm children’s clothes
Warm blankets/duvets/towels – these MUST be clean please (we do not have time to wash and mend, although if we could we would!)
Dried food/super noodles/tins of meaty things (high protein, could be fish), baby food and baby formula milk, dummies
Toiletries (baby/child/adult) and sanitary items (sanitary towels)
Plastic utensils and dinnerware
Pain relief (adult and child)
Childrens toys – small soft toys/colouring pencils and colouring books/small items
First aid supplies – bandages/plasters/antiseptic creams
Wind up torches (ideal) but also torches with batteries (and a supply of batteries good)
The practice has very generously donated medical items already including alcohol gel, bandages and dressings, sterile gloves and other items that will be very useful
PLEASE keep the donations coming into the practice at Chieveley or Compton as the need is immense.
